How to reach Tangier
You can reach Tangier from Tarifa and Algeciras in Spain by ferry. There are frequent ferries to Tangier and the sailing duration from Tarifa is about 1 hour. Located in Northern Morocco, Tangier is an uncontrolled mix of North Africa and Europe. The city is 9 miles from Tarifa-Spain through the Strait of Gibraltar. Frequent cruise ships sailing between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic often include Tangier as a port of call.
